Better Care.

Better Movement.

Stronger You.

When pain or movement limitations get in the way of the things you love, you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.

Action Chiropractic + Black Barn Barbell work together to bridge the gap between care and movement.

Action Chiropractic provides individualized chiropractic care to help address pain, mobility restrictions, and musculoskeletal concerns. Black Barn builds on that work with personalized strength, mobility, corrective movement, and at-home programming designed around your needs and your provider’s recommendations.

The goal isn't simply to feel better.
It's to help you move better, get stronger, and feel confident doing it.

Our Shared Story

Feel better. Move better. Get stronger. Stay active.

We believe the goal of care isn't simply getting you out of pain.

It's helping you get back to your life.

Whether that's: lifting your kids, running, golfing, training, playing with your dog, traveling, working without discomfort, or simply feeling confident in your body again. We want to help you build the capacity to do the things that matter to you.

Neck & Upper Back

Neck discomfort can sometimes be accompanied by stiffness, reduced mobility, or tension that changes the way you move through your shoulders and upper body.

Together, we can help you:

  • Address mobility restrictions identified during chiropractic care

  • Improve posture and body awareness

  • Build strength through the neck, shoulders, and upper back

  • Practice controlled movement without unnecessarily aggravating symptoms

  • Develop better movement habits between appointments

  • Improve thoracic mobility

Restrictions through the upper back can affect much more than your back. They can influence your shoulders, neck, breathing mechanics, posture, and ability to perform everyday movements. The goal: not just moving more, moving with more control.

Lower Back

Low-back discomfort can make people hesitant to bend, lift, squat, or exercise. Our approach focuses on gradually rebuilding confidence and capacity while respecting your body's current limitations.

Together, we can help you:

  • Improve mobility where appropriate

  • Develop better bracing and core control

  • Strengthen the hips, glutes, and trunk

  • Practice safe, intentional lifting patterns

  • Progress resistance as movement quality and confidence improve

Black Barn programming can be modified around the recommendations of your chiropractic provider, helping you continue moving and strengthening between visits.

Knee

When your knee hurts, it's easy to assume you should stop using it. But the right movement strategy can help you gradually rebuild strength and confidence.

Together, we can focus on:

  • Improving movement mechanics

  • Strengthening the quads, hamstrings, and glutes

  • Building hip and ankle mobility when needed

  • Developing better single-leg control

  • Gradually increasing strength and tolerance to movement

Your program is adjusted according to your symptoms, movement quality, and your provider's recommendations.

Whole Body

Sometimes the area that hurts isn't the only area that needs attention.

A limitation at the ankle can affect the knee.
A restriction in the hip can change how you move through your back.
Limited upper-back mobility can affect your shoulders and neck.

That's why our approach looks beyond the painful area.

Together, we consider the whole movement system and create a plan that helps you:

Move → Strengthen → Adapt → Progress

Hip Pain

Hip discomfort can change the way you walk, squat, lunge, climb stairs, or train. Instead of simply avoiding movement, we can work toward improving your ability to move through those patterns with control.

Together, we can help you:

  • Improve hip mobility

  • Strengthen the glutes and surrounding musculature

  • Improve single-leg stability

  • Rebuild comfortable squat and lunge patterns

  • Progress strength without rushing the process

Care helps create the opportunity to move better. Black Barn Barbell coaching helps you learn how to use it.

Lower Leg/Ankle, Foot

Your feet and lower legs influence how you walk, balance, squat, run, and generate force through your entire body.

Together, we can work on:

  • Foot and ankle mobility

  • Calf and lower-leg strength

  • Balance and stability

  • Single-leg control

  • Progressive loading

  • Improving movement patterns from the ground up

Small improvements at the foundation can create meaningful changes in how the rest of the body moves.
